Meeting the Meaningful Use Measure: Protect Electronic Health Information

Depending on which publication or website you choose to read, and incomplete Risk Analysis and Management Plan per the guidelines defined by CMS ranks either first or second as the most common reason for failing a Meaningful Use audit.  Whether it is a solo practitioner or a large hospital, they both follow the same HIPAA Security rule.   In this presentation, we will review the requirements, the resources available for a provider or hospital, and some basic guidelines to assist in completing a Risk Analysis and Management Plan.
